National Signing Day has come and gone, and while some of the February intrigue no longer exists due to November announcements and December signings, there are still many exciting recruits poised for immediate impacts come September.
Michigan QB Bryce Underwood
The consensus top recruit of the 2025 class, Underwood will compete with Fresno State transfer Mikey Keene for the starting job in Ann Arbor after flipping his commitment from LSU to Michigan in November. He is the Wolverines’ first No. 1 overall recruit since Rashan Gary in 2016, and the program’s first No. 1-ranked quarterback recruit since Ryan Mallett in 2007.
Colorado QB Julian Lewis
Now the heir apparent to Shedeur Sanders, Lewis had originally committed to USC before announcing his intentions to head to Boulder last November. Lewis was the No. 2 overall recruit in ESPN’s 2025 300, with longtime analyst Tom Luginbill comparing him to a “right-handed version of Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel.”
Florida State RB Ousmane Kromah
Krohmah may not be the top running back recruit in the country, but he may well end up as the most productive right off the bat. “There’s not a player that I watched more in my coaching career live than him,” FSU head coach Mike Norvell said after flipping the four-star recruit from Georgia. Given the amount of time allocated to his recruitment, expect Kromah to be given every opportunity to see the field early and often in 2025.
Oregon WR Dakorien Moore
The Ducks landed the nation’s top wide receiver recruit back in July after flipping him from a commitment to LSU. Like Alabama’s Ryan Williams and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith in 2024, Moore figures to be an immediate difference-maker on the perimeter in his collegiate debut.
Oklahoma OT Michael Fasusi
A native of Ondo State, Nigeria, Fasusi emigrated to the United States less than six years ago and proved himself to be a quick learner, earning nearly 40 scholarship offers despite very limited football experience. Being 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds helps. The Sooners snatched him out of Lewiston, Texas, and hope he becomes the next standout offensive tackle at Oklahoma.
Georgia DL Elijah Griffin
Recruited by the Bulldogs since he was 13 years old, Griffin will help his home state Bulldogs rebuild its interior defensive line. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound defensive tackle was dominant at Savannah Christian High School, leading the Raiders to a state championship appearance in 2023.
Texas DL Justus Terry
The final five-star recruit of the 2025 class to sign ultimately ended up at Texas after having previously committed to both USC and his home state of Georgia earlier in the year. He is one of two five-star defenders signed by the Longhorns this year, joining safety Jonah Williams, who ESPN ranked as the No. 8 overall recruit in 2025.
LSU CB DJ Pickett
Arguably the top overall athlete in the Class of 2025, Pickett is anticipated to be the next great defender at DBU. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound district champion sprinter has a slightly different body build than his uncle, Ryan Pickett, a former first-round defensive tackle out of Ohio State who played 14 NFL seasons and won a Super Bowl championship with the Green Bay Packers.
