The NCAA Transfer Portal officially opened on Monday and more than 1,000 Division I players are expected to test the waters of college football's version of free agency this winter.

QB Darian Mensah

Transferring from: Tulane

Eligibility remaining: 3

HT: 6-3 | WT: 200 | Class: Redshirt freshman


Passed for 22 touchdowns and six interceptions while leading Tulane to a 9-4 record and the AAC championship game as a redshirt freshman in 2024. Update: Mensah has committed to Duke. (12/11)


QB Jackson Arnold

Transferring from: Oklahoma

Eligibility remaining: 2

HT: 6-1 | WT: 210 | Class: Sophomore


The former five-star recruit struggled in his first season as a starter at OU. Then again, everyone struggled in Norman; the Sooners' top five receivers went down with injuries, the offensive line allowed 46 sacks, and the team fired its QB coach and OC midseason. QB Conner Weigman

Transferring from: Texas A&M

Eligibility remaining: 2

HT: 6-3 | WT: 220 | Class: Redshirt sophomore


The former blue chip recruit has been limited to just 15 games over three seasons in College Station. However, he's 9-4 as a starter and completed 18-of-22 passes for 276 yards in a rout of No. 9 Missouri in 2024. Update: Weigman has committed to Houston. (12/11)

QB Cade McNamara

Transferring from: Iowa

Eligibility remaining: 1

HT: 6-1 | WT: 210 | Class: Graduate student


McNamara is looking to return for a seventh season of college football in 2025 after an ACL tear and a serious concussion disrupted his last two years at Iowa. McNamara previously led Michigan to the Big Ten championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff in 2021 before transferring to Iowa.

QB Devon Dampier

Transferring from: New Mexico

Eligibility remaining: 2

HT: 5-10 | WT: 198 | Class: Sophomore


A dual-threat quarterback, Dampier earned All-Mountain West honors in 2024 after accumulating 3,934 yards of total offense (2,768 passing, 1,166 rushing) and 31 touchdowns. Update: Dampier has committed to Utah. (12/11)

RB Ahmad Hardy

Transferring from: Louisiana Monroe

Eligibility remaining: 3

HT: 5-10 | WT: 205 | Class: Freshman


The Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year ran for 1,351 yards and 13 touchdowns in his lone season at UL Monroe. His 82 forced missed tackles rank behind only Boise State's Ashton Jeanty and Arizona State's Cam Skattebo. Update: Hardy has committed to Missouri. (12/18)

WR Eric Singleton Jr.

Transferring from: Georgia Tech

A Freshman All-America selection and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year runner-up in 2023, Singleton totaled 56 catches and 754 yards as a sophomore at Tech. Update: Singleton Jr. has committed to Auburn. (12/23)

WR Kevin Concepcion

Transferring from: NC State

Concepcion was the ACC Rookie of the Year and a Freshman All-America selection in 2023 after setting a program rookie record with 71 receptions.

WR Nic Anderson

Transferring from: Oklahoma

HT: 6-4 | WT: 216 | Class: Redshirt freshman


Anderson set the Sooners' freshman record with 10 touchdown receptions in 2023 but missed most of 2024 with a quad injury. Update: Anderson has committed to LSU. (12/17)

WR Eric Rivers

Transferring from: Florida International

Eligibility remaining: 1

HT: 5-11 | WT: 174 | Class: Redshirt junior


After two years at Memphis, Rivers had a breakout season at FIU in 2024, averaging 97.7 receiving yards per game and earning All-Conference USA honors. Rivers set a program record with 295 receiving yards against New Mexico State on 10/29. Update: Rivers has committed to Georgia Tech. (12/18)


WR Micah Hudson

Transferring from: Texas Tech

A five-star recruit coming into the season, Hudson was limited to just eight receptions in large part due to injury in 2024. Update: Hudson has committed to Texas A&M. (12/16)

TE Tanner Koziol

Transferring from: Ball State

Eligibility remaining: 1

HT: 6-7 | WT: 237 | Class: Junior


The three-time All-MAC selection is a massive target who put up big numbers in 2024 with 94 catches for 839 yards and eight scores. Update: Koziol has committed to Wisconsin. (12/14)


OT Hunter Zambrano

Transferring from: Illinois State

Eligibility remaining: 1

HT: 6-5 | WT: 300 | Class: Redshirt senior


Zambrano was a three-year starter, an All-Missouri Valley Conference selection, and a Preseason All-America pick heading into the 2024 season. He'll have an extra year of eligibility due to a hip injury this fall. Update: Zambrano has committed to Texas Tech. (12/11)

IOL Austin Gentle

Transferring from: Harvard

Eligibility remaining: 1

HT: 6-3 | WT: 295 | Class: Graduate student


A three-year starter and two-time Second Team All-Ivy pick (and one-time honorable mention selection), Gentle will look to make an impact as an FBS graduate transfer in 2025. Update: Gentle has committed to Memphis. (12/19)

IOL Jordan White

Transferring from: Liberty

Eligibility remaining: 1

White will be a sixth-year senior in 2025 with starting experience as both a center and guard. White began his collegiate career at West Virginia in 2020. Update: White has committed to Vanderbilt. (12/18)

DE Santana Hopper

Transferring from: Appalachian State

DL Jehiem Oatis

Started 13 games during his first two seasons in Tuscaloosa before electing to redshirt in 2024 due to injuries and dissatisfaction about playing time. Update: Oatis has committed to Colorado. (12/17)

LB Princewill Umanmielen

Transferring from: Nebraska

A former Freshman All-American, Umanmielen's production didn't match his ability at Nebraska where he recorded 13 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss in 12 games in 2024. Update: Umanielen has committed to Mississippi. (12/14)
